History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Tordek was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sellsword. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
