History: Vondal was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. After a long history of fighting, Vondal and his spouse have recently divorced.

She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
