History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Ernest never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: Moon is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Moon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
