Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

History: Born in the west to a Body Guard, Joan learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has worked as a Body Guard like her mother before her.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Shadow is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Shadow never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
