History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Sethrekar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Gifted from a young age, Dondon studied abroad. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
