History: Gifted from a young age, Shane studied abroad. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mreksh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Nithther is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Nithther lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She got into the Dyer business at a young age. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Expand her business; and to be a baker again
