History: Quespa lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Kithri liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
