History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ildrex was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
