He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This dark-skinned male is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born into a rich family. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He became a Crown-heir soon after.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This woman wears a violet coat over a blue low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon her head. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her brown hair is knotted and matted. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes drow are coming to abduct people. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Oriff hails from a village terrorized by drow. Oriff was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Bather. She's also a talented Armorer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Paela learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.
