History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Spy. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She tends to her Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Lia hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She worked as a nervous Barkeep and found it very stressful. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
