History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Flame was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Abalaba was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
