History: Oriel was born with her mother's beautiful face. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has never given up on her writing dream.

History: He was born in the west. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Kyle and his spouse have recently divorced.
