History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her first spouse was a Mortician, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mortician they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Map Maker, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Map Maker and was forced into it by her family; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Knight and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
