History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Sage kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He worked as a nervous Seamstress and found it very stressful. He struck the Seamstress job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and further expansion of business

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
