When his father died while fighting gnolls, the young Elaim began to lead the lost caravan. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nurkara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared.
