Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hugh was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She now owns her own business.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Barkeep profession.

History: Born in the west to a Navigator, Emeny learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Barkeep again.

Personality: Enidda is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
