Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Abalaba and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, she wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Her crest, while still mostly green, has prominent grey streaks. Her red eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
