Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Therai's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Therai has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Therai fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Heian is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Heian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Heian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miller.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Findex was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.
