History: Born to a Junk Dealer, his father struggled to pay the bills. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. After a long history of fighting, Nithther and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: Mara is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Mara lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mara fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
