Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Katherine was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the goblins.

In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Meriele and her spouse have recently divorced.

His first spouse was a Bounty Hunter, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
