History: Elama was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
