History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
