History: Jade was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Puyet was born with her mother's beautiful face. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Puyet alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
