Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His hair is cut close to his head. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oren. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. She wears her black hair down. This violet eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Finellen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This woman does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amber on her right hand. Her red hair is smooth and relatively long. Her eyes are likewise hazel. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. She became a Servant soon after.

Motivation: Expand her business; and balancing her hectic life and new servant responsibilities is difficult

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears tattered old clothes. His green crest is matted, messy, and big. He has red eyes.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: She is lean but muscular and wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her yellow fur is greasy and uncared for. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tricking fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and retire the richest woman in the south
