History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Description: This late middle aged woman usually wears her blue robe and has her bastard sword always slung over her shoulder and is in decent physical shape. Her red hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. She has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Symma was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Symma's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Symma and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: Nicor was born with his mother's beautiful face. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting giants, the young Nicor began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Nicor was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
