History: Ridaro was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. She wears her gray fur down. Her amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Lone was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A freak accident while working with her Gardener mother left her crippled. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shoemaker for hire.

Motivation: To be a Gardener again; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His first spouse was a Engraver, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: This western woman wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her falchion with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her red hair is greasy and uncared for. Her white eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down
