Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: The child of a Layabout, who enjoyed hunting, John was taken on many hunting expeditions. John liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: Emeny was born with her father's beautiful face. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Emen lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Mayor, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Born in the east to a Tanner, Burana learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
