History: Duergath was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barrister hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
