Description: An older woman who wears many layers of old clothing at all times, she is not a threatening figure. Her dark red hair is braided into rings. This silver eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. The war was a terrible time for her, and Kallista does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Bookbinder and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: Oskar was born the youngest of three triplets. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born in the south to a Painter, Adelaide learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and sabotage a competitor
