History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Through the years after Halimath was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Halimath's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: River hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barrister hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, River never married again.
