History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
