Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her red hair is knotted and matted. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gold.
Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the south were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Her auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Helja speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: Rangrim hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Scribe. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: A 3'1" northern woman, she wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Merla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When Merla reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor
