History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born into a rich family. After coming to the age of reason, Cloud took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. His auburn hair is braided into rings. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: The child of a Guard, who enjoyed hunting, John was taken on many hunting expeditions. John abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: A middle-aged woman, she is dressed in earthy colors with a tan and black handkerchief worn on her left side, and is pretty ugly. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: The child of a Priest, who enjoyed hunting, Torbera was taken on many hunting expeditions. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Revenge; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
