History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Joan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. After a long history of fighting, Joan and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Akta was born the youngest of three triplets. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
