Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult

History: Gifted from a young age, Gardain studied abroad. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

His hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Travok grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Travok. He became a Knight soon after.
