History: Purah was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Unemployed work with an outfit from a few towns over. Unemployed work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

History: Uraim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
