Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Adelaide embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born in the north. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. After a long history of fighting, Adelaide and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: 5'3" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He is dressed in earthy colors with a brown and yellow handkerchief worn on his left side. He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length white hair. He is baby faced.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
