Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Akta and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

Description: She is lean but muscular and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her orange fur is lengthy. Her green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Dynamic was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Uthûg fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
