History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born in the east to a Mercenary, Karash learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He struck the Mercenary job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and balancing his hectic life and new mercenary responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This man is very fat, and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His blonde hair is greasy and uncared for. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He worked as a nervous Engraver and found it very stressful. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and wants to open a new tavern
