History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emma fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: Vondal was born with his father's beautiful face. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His first spouse was a Mayor, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
