History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young John began to lead the lost caravan. He has achieved small success as a Cartwright.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Shifting was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shifting decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Dragonborn activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dragonborn doctor. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: This woman is very fat, and is wearing a long, tan, dusty cloak. Her head has been shaved. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She is a Apothecary first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Apothecary arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Apothecary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Apothecary work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
