History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Verin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Verin. History: Ronk was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the north to a Shepherd, Matilda learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
