Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He is mildly Tiefling supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cressel grew up listening to his father's many stories. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: The light-skinned woman stands 3'0" and wears dark leathers with embroidery. She has dyed her greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. Her eyes are hazel.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pearl embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Pearl was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Pearl's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fortune-teller and was forced into it by her family; and seeks redemption

Description: This eastern woman wears a white coat over a yellow low-cut shirt, and a small hat upon her head. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her hair is brown and curly. Her eyes are hazel and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Myria fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This late middle aged man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his greatsword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt and is in decent physical shape. His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Guard business.

History: Born in the south to a Guard, Taklinn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.
