One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: An older man who is wearing a tight green one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are red.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Carter who has hired him part-time. He works hard and plays hard.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Navigator.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. She has worked as a Marshal like her mother before her.
