When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Jo is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has worked as a Fortune-teller like her mother before her.
