Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He's also a talented Detective, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Verin liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.
