Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born in a small plains village. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Spear took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor she uses now. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Gell was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a shield, but if one is not available he will default to his trident. His hair is long and golden with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears a green costume with the symbols of luck on her torso. She has done her best to style her blue hair to look like a famous performer. Her skin is flawless and her black eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Verin hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has achieved small success as a Apothecary.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she's repulsed by the pc
