History: The child of a Brewer, who enjoyed hunting, Katherine was taken on many hunting expeditions. She moved out south to avoid the crime she committed. Being a Merchant kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Miner profession.

History: Born in the south to a Servant, Oren learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Through the years after Oren was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Oren's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hillanot was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Hillanot has worked very hard to control her curse. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
