History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a pastel cloak and cross-gartered white stockings. His gray fur is lengthy. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Sun alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: This light-skinned male is dressed in earthy colors with a brown and tan handkerchief worn on his left side. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Bernard has worked very hard to control his curse. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Dagger is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dagger grew up listening to her father's many stories. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and to protect her home
