History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Through the years after Dagger was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Dagger's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Alain was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She found a children's book about a Halfling Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
